Alan joined the Magento team mid-2013 focusing on the new Magento 2 platform. Alan is now responsible for the integration of several Magento related initiatives, such as integration with order management and in-store retail associate tools. Prior to Magento, Alan grew up in Melbourne, Australia, joining eBay in 2011 to lead the team that rewrote the eBay distributed search engine from the ground up.
Join DCKAP Founder and CEO Karthik Chidambaram in a chat with Magento’s Chief Architect Alan Kent. This free flowing interview was done on the sidelines of last year’s MagentoLive Australia. It still holds a lot of relevance to what is happening in Magento 2 platform and its community.
