Giving Thanks for 2023 & Looking Forward to 2024

We are Very Thankful to 2023 for all the learnings bestowed upon us. As we reflect on this past year, we want to give Thanks to our valued customers, partners, our team and the community for their constant support and encouragement.

Klizer

Starting in 2022, we decided to carve out our Services offerings from DCKAP. We executed, and this service offering received a new name – Klizer. We took the first three letters of the word Client, changed the ‘C’ with a ‘K’ and first three letters of the word Services, changed the ‘S’ with a ‘Z’, and came up with the name, Klizer.

With Klizer, we will continue to be a trusted partner for Manufacturers, Distributors, and Brands providing services for products including Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, and more.

DCKAP Integrator

Integrator

In 2023, DCKAP continued its focus on Products, with Integrator being our core product offering. We made a lot of product improvements and we continued to primarily focus on the Distributor market, to help them with their automation through integration. Over the last year with our Integrator product, we have improved the performance of logs and log search capabilities. We also set up an internal R&D (Research and Development) team to run various experiments.

We received 13 new reviews on the G2 marketplace this past year, and we are very proud to now have a total of 45 Reviews and a 4.7 Star Rating. Our DCKAP Integrator product was also recently recognized as one of the top 8 Cloud Integration platforms along with the likes of IBM App Connect, MuleSoft, Zapier, Dell Boomi and more.

QA Touch

Our End to End Test Management Product, QA Touch, expanded to 10 more countries this year. We’ve made several major product improvements, including multiple Jira Project Integrations, Continuous Integration Pipeline, enhancing the overall performance of the product, and proudly serving QA Communities across the world.

Zircly

As an internal platform we use at DCKAP, Zircly has helped our community to be more engaged and it has been a game changer for us as a company. This past year, we were working on figuring out the product market fit to gain new customers. However, we have not been successful with it yet. We are continuing to work on refining our messaging so customers can experience how game changing Zircly can be for their business and company culture.

Research & Development

Throughout 2023, we engaged in a series of diverse experiments, starting with an LCNC-based (Low Code No Code) initiative that resulted in the development of UDIMS (Unified Distribution and Inventory Management System), a robust full-scale mobile application. Shifting our focus to Artificial Intelligence, our objective was to deploy intelligence over proprietary data, leading to the creation of a Support Desk, an AI-centric Support System.

In the realm of hardware experimentation, we replicated a Ring-like Home Security System using Raspberry Pi. Further delving into AI research, we experimented with an AI Middleware empowering teams and organizations to integrate AI capabilities into their existing systems. Exploring WebRTC, we prototyped a video conferencing system akin to Google Meet. In all, we’re very excited about where our research and development will take us in the new year.

DCKAP Round-Up

This past year, we hosted our yearly DCKAP Round-Up Event at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas, Texas. We hosted our event in conjunction with the P21 WorldWide User Group Summit. We are extremely thankful for the great success of this community event. It was also a great time for our US and India teams to get together in the wonderful city of Dallas.

DCKAP Homecoming

After we went fully remote and distributed, we wanted to make sure to meet once a year and spend a few days together as a team. This November, the India Team got together for Homecoming 3.0 in Chennai during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was a great event. The rain gods were very kind and we were fortunate to have good weather. It was great to meet with our entire India team and have the chance to meet new team members that we have not met earlier. Our team flew and traveled from hundreds of different locations to attend this year’s Homecoming.

Driven by DCKAP Podcast

One of our Big Wins for this year is with the Driven by DCKAP Podcast. We began a brand new season in Q1 of 2023 starting with Lisa Pope, President of Epicor, as our first guest. We hit the ground running, and we were very fortunate to have an amazing guest list.

The theme of our podcast is all about how to be driven and successful, both professionally and personally, and we are very thankful to each of our guests who have shared their experiences and expertise with us. Please subscribe to our podcast to learn more on how to stay Driven.

Watch the recap and some of the best moments of the 2023 season of the podcast here:

One of our primary goals for 2024 is to build on the foundation of what we have built over the years and focus towards scale. We have a great second level of leadership within the company and we want to capitalize on the strengths of our team. While this was one of our goals for 2023, we also think we could have executed even better. This is our focus for 2024.

Thanks again to our customers, partners, our team, our community and to each and every one of you. Wishing you and your family a Very Happy and Prosperous 2024.

Happy New Year!
