Custom Dashboards in vizB

vizB so far has been a static dashboard, users didn’t have the power to create charts, they were stuck with the static dashboard which does provide a holistic view of the business, but if you needed something particular, the only way to get that chart or insight was to contact us and we would develop it for you but not anymore, we are working and constantly updating vizB and for this release, we are giving you, the users the power to create your own charts and dashboard. Here’s a quick guide to get started with creating your own dashboard Login to your vizB dashboard and click on the create chart icon at the top right

You’ll be redirected to the page where you can create your own dashboard

Steps to create custom chart

1. Select the type of chart, vizB currently offers Pie, Line, Area, Bar, and Tabular charts.
2. Give the chart a name
3. Select the table you want to use, for example, Sales, Customers, Forecasting, etc Once you select the table, a table will appear displaying few rows of data and the columns available in that selected table

4. For the selected chart select the X and Y axis columns Note: If you select table view then you have to select the columns that you want in the table and that will be displayed.

5. Select the type of aggregation, for example, SUM, COUNT, etc
6. Click on Generate

The generated charts will appear at the bottom

Create Custom Dashboard

Click on the Dashboard tab and Give the custom dashboard a name and select the charts you want in the dashboard and click on generate, once you’re satisfied with the dashboard, click on save and the dashboard will be saved and will be visible on the custom dashboard menu
