About the Customer
The Client is a real estate appraiser/real estate agent helping the property owners in assessing their home values and reducing their taxes. The client has been in the real estate business for more than 30 years!
Business Situation
The client felt that meeting the property owners in-person or vice versa is a time consuming process and could be expensive for the homeowner. The client wanted to have an automated system that should be an easy, quick, and inexpensive way to help property owners in appealing their taxes.
The Objective
The objective of the project is to develop an end to end web based application where property owners could visit the website and calculate their taxes. The property owners could purchase standard and appraiser reports online! The website being integrated with PayPal helps the property owners to pay online and feel secured. The affiliates registered with the website helps the property owners in approaching the counties and submitting their taxes!
Challenges
The Integration of Tax Savings Calculator would result in calculating market value and assessment value of a particular property. The property owners could enter the property address and tax savings calculator with the help of Zillow and Cyberhomes API, will display assessment value, tax savings and market value.
The application would advise the property owners whether they have to apply for tax appeal. The property owners could register with the website and purchase the report!
The end to end Web based application includes:

- Customer login
- Affiliate login
- Admin login
The customer could download reports at any time by logging in to the system. The affiliates can purchase county so that whenever a report is ordered for that county, he will get appropriate commission.
